- Prepare the basic bread dough.
- Preheat the oven to the specified temperature for cooking the dough.
- Grease or spray the inside of the pot well.
- Cover any drainage holes with a few layers of baking paper.
- This makes sure the dough does not expand through the holes.
- Form the dough into balls, about half the size of the terracotta pot.
- Set the dough in a warm area.
- Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size.
- Place the dough into the flower pot to cook the loaf.
- Bake in the oven for the amount of time specified
- not sure - flick the top side of the dough with your thumb. A hollow light sound is ewhat your cooked bread will sound like.
- Remove from the oven.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pot.
